We’re now WELL into the season of being merry, and nothing says winter to me like Sloe Gin.
You can make your own but if you’ve left it a bit late (or are a city dweller) we are big fans of Greenall’s (hello hip flask for winter walks!).
The beauty of Sloe gin is the depth it adds to the botanicals already in the beverage – making it fruity and a little sweet. This recipe adds to that with some spices and freshness that smell incredible.
Watch though – it’s INCREDIBLY easy to drink……
50ml Greenall’s Sloe Gin
100ml quality tonic water
Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in the Greenall’s Sloe Gin
Stir with a cinnamon stick
Top with quality tonic water
Garnish with a slice of orange
