It’s low in calories and high in fibre – great for those of you with IBS, and it’s super filling for those of you looking to lose or maintain your weight.
All reasons why it’s been listed as one of ‘The World’s healthiest foods’!! There are too many benefits of eating kale to list, so just trust us.
And trust me too when I say it doesn’t have to be boring, bland and the even less interesting cousin of the sprout.
Prepare this very easy, delicious recipe and enjoy!!
250g Purple or green kale
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp ground cumin
50g whole almonds
Pre heat the oven to 120c
Place the kale in a bowl and rub the olive oil over it.
Sprinkle 1 tsp cumin over and salt to taste
Place on a tray and cook in the preheated oven for 1hour 45 minutes
In a frying pan toast the nuts wth the remaining cumin and a little salt. Cook until the nuts are golden.
When the kale is crispy and dry then place in a bowl and mix with the nuts and serve.
